Fakhoury Development · Beirut
Building Lebanon's next legacy.
Three addresses, one neighbourhood.

Live Beirut differently.
Gardens, terraces, and light from two sides.

Mar Mikhael.
Beirut at its most itself — workshops that became galleries, staircases that became addresses, the old railway station at the end of the street. All three projects are here, a few minutes' walk from one another.
Mar Mikhael runs east from Gemmayzé along Armenia Street, between the Port of Beirut below and the slopes of Geitawi above. The Beirut River closes it to the east. Charles Helou Avenue takes the through traffic along the waterfront, which is exactly why the inner streets stay quiet — the noise never has to come up the hill.
The old Mar Mikhael station stands at the end of the line that gave the neighbourhood its shape. The tracks drew these streets before the buildings filled them, and the grid still follows them: long parallels along the slope, stairs cutting straight down between them.
It is a neighbourhood of workshops that became galleries and staircases that became addresses. Mechanics still work next to design studios. Bakeries open before the offices, and the kitchens stay open long after them. Nothing here is zoned into a single use, which is the point — you can live, work and eat within the same five streets.
All three Fakhoury Development addresses sit inside this fabric, a few minutes' walk from one another. 1771 Rmeil stands directly on Armenia Street, near Asfahan Street. Rail Heights rises beside the old railway line. LYV sits in the heart of Mar Mikhael. La Scène, the City Bible Church, Zoukak Theatre and the Bank of Beirut branch are all within the same walk.
